Mindfulness-based group counselling uses therapeutic approaches grounded in mindfulness and meditation to help reduce symptoms of anxiety, stress and depression.
I am a registered Social Worker & Counsellor. I have over 10 years of professional experience working with individuals, families and groups.
Through my work, I am committed to helping people overcome addictions to alcohol & drugs, depression, anxiety, and other stressors that affect all of us at some time in our lives.

This opened a new window into understanding my own well-being
I work in a very stressful environment & this group equipped me with the necessary skills to manage my reactions
I believe everyone needs a group like this every once in a while, to help handle stress and be a better person
During the course I learned a lot about myself, specifically how to sit with negative emotions, how to communicate mindfully and how to create a mindful daily ritual
I found the home practice very useful-as this allowed me to put the theory we learned into practice
This group really helped me manage my anxiety, especially during this time (COVID)
